The main aim was to promote the power to drive change, create a more equitable world, and empower young girls. The project celebrated a one-day girls’ takeover event with the roles of chairperson of Kanakasundari and chairperson of Ward No. 4.

50 Adolescent Girls’ Clubs (AGC) and Youth Girls are enhancing the knowledge and skills of the AGC members on various topics based on the AGC manual, such as online safety and child marriage. They are also addressing community issues in wards 4 and 5 of Kanakasundari R.M.

Project conducted a 2-day girls’ summit in Kanakasundari, with nearly 20 youths engaged in the summit and preparing their action plan.

Child Emergency Fund has been established with a budget of 650,000 allocated in Hima, 150,000 allocated in Kanakasundari, and 120,000 in Sinja RM.

Toll-free number is established for three Palikas (Hima, Sinja, and Kanakasundari RM).

Project has capacitated and sensitized 55 youth, children, and adolescents on safeguarding.

Project has conducted the one day OCMC meeting nearly 18 participants are engaged on this event. With the aim of providing services to children, women, and victims/survivors in a timely manner, the Kanakasundari R.M. project has sensitized the judiciary committee of the Palika and the police station of Kanakasundari R.M

The end child marriage strategy plan has been endorsed by all working local level Hima, Sinja and Kanakasundari R.M of Jumla.

Different community groups and civil society networks from Hima, Sinja, and Kanakasundari R.M. succeeded in stopping 3 child marriages.

Child protection policy has been updated in 27 schools in Sinja, Hima, and Kanakasundari R.M.
